Wazalendo SACCO Joins National Cleaning Day Activities in Kampala

Staff of Wazalendo SACCO have joined communities across the country in observing the National Cleaning Day, participating in cleaning activities in Kinawataka Cell, Bukoto II, and Sebowa Cell in Kiwatule Parish, Nakawa Division.
The Manager of Wazalendo E-Banking, Major Ali Muzooro, welcomed the National Cleaning Day initiative, which is observed every last Saturday of the month, saying it plays an important role in improving public health and environmental conservation.
“As Wazalendo SACCO, we could not sit back while the rest of the country cleans the environment in which we live. If this initiative continues, I am optimistic that Uganda will become one of the cleanest countries,” Maj. Muzooro said.
He urged the public to embrace the initiative and work collectively to safeguard the environment for present and future generations.
The LC1 Chairperson of Kinawataka, Bukoto II, Mr Jimmitex Ronnie Kizito, commended Wazalendo SACCO for joining the community in the National Cleaning Day activities.
He encouraged residents to emulate the SACCO’s example by actively participating in environmental cleanliness initiatives and maintaining clean surroundings within their communities.
